1. Provider and acceptance
These terms govern access to the Precise Prevent Coaching App, a Progressive Web App provided by Fundació Institut Guttmann (Institut Guttmann), Tax ID G08519100, Camí de Can Ruti, s/n, 08916 Badalona (Barcelona), Spain. By accessing or using the app, participants accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. The participant information sheet, informed consent and study protocol prevail on research-specific matters.

2. Restricted access
The app is not publicly available. It may only be used by persons aged 18 or over who have been selected and formally enrolled in the PrecisePrevent study. Access is free, personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable. Participation and app access do not create a commercial relationship.
3. Purpose
The app offers coaching content and activities, questionnaires, reminders, interaction tracking and voluntary connection to authorised activity and sleep sources. Generated data are used to deliver the intervention and conduct the research described in the study documents.
4. Account and security
Participants must keep their credentials confidential, provide truthful information and report any unauthorised access or incident. Institut Guttmann may take steps to protect accounts, data and study integrity.
5. Google Health and other devices
Connecting Google Health is voluntary and requires participant authorisation. It may be revoked in the app profile or Google Account. Revocation may limit related features and will stop new collection, but does not automatically erase data already lawfully incorporated into the study. Use of Google Health, Fitbit or other services is also governed by their providers' terms.
6. Permitted use and restrictions

Use the app in a way that harms security, the research or third-party rights.
7. Not medical care or an emergency service
The app does not provide diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment, continuous clinical monitoring or individual medical advice. Its content is informational and research-related. It must not be used to make medical decisions or replace professional care. If symptoms are concerning, a condition worsens or an emergency occurs, participants should contact a healthcare professional or the appropriate emergency service. The app and support email are not emergency channels.
8. Participation and withdrawal
Participation is voluntary and may be ended under the participant information sheet and informed consent without affecting present or future care. Participants may contactbbhi@guttmann.com.
Withdrawal and the handling of previously collected data are governed by applicable law, the protocol, consent and the Privacy Policy.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app available and secure, but interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, third-party failures or circumstances outside our control. Functions may be modified, suspended or withdrawn for scientific, technical, legal or security reasons. Participants will be informed where a change is material.
10. Suspension
Institut Guttmann may restrict or suspend access where participation ends, these terms are breached, security or study integrity is at risk, the protocol or an authority requires it, or the app is no longer needed. Participants will be informed where reasonably possible.
11. Intellectual property
The app, software, design, trade marks and content belong to Institut Guttmann, project partners or their licensors. Participants receive only the personal and temporary right to use them as needed for the study. No intellectual-property rights are transferred.
12. Liability
The app is provided free of charge for research. Institut Guttmann will exercise legally required care but does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, it is not liable for harm arising from use contrary to these terms, medical decisions based on the app, failures attributable to a participant's device or connection or third-party services, or unavoidable events outside its control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits participants' mandatory rights.
13. Privacy
Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy and the study documents. Privacy questions may be sent to

14. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes are submitted to the competent authorities and courts under applicable law, without limiting any mandatory rights or venue available to a participant.
